Grief ceremonies are a profound exploration of our whole and holy self. Ceremony provides us with a sanctuary to slow down, reconnect to our emotions and embrace our inner world. Connecting to our grief in a well-crafted and supportive environment is incredibly healing. Granting yourself the space to slow down to feel what is stored within is empowering and radical. Creative grief work ceremonies invite us into a collective journey of exploring how grief rituals can play a vital role in the process of healing. Tapping into the powers granted us by being a multi-sensory, multi dimensional being of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and spirit. We will journey through the five natural elements exploring different thresholds of healing, release, and renewal. During one ceremony we will make our own ritual ink that we will use during another ceremony. We will also be able to hold space for one of my favorite rituals, the sacred rose water ablutions. Each ritual unveils unexpected emotions, memories that transform into both burdens and gifts, evolving and shifting perspectives, often in ways that endure. Please wear comfortable clothes, bring a personal journal, a water bottle, and whatever physical items you need for personal comfort. Lunch included.
